To My Wonderful Clients,
After a shopping trip to the mall, spending over $200 on 5 kid’s outfits, I realized that something had to change. I still needed three times more clothes and, I had already spent most of my clothing budget. Then I remembered a consignment store I had been to in Little Rock. I had been shocked when I left with a full season’s wardrobe, for my daughter and, I had not even spent $100. I went back to the mall, made lots of returns, and talked my husband into a trip to Little Rock. At that time Texarkana didn’t have a large children’s consignment store. It was on that trip that I realized what I was going to do next. Texarkana needed a children’s consignment store, and I was going to open it!!
Three months later, with much support of family friends and God, I opened Graham Crackers Children’s Consignment. The first location was in an 800 sq foot rented space. Three years after that, and with the same support team, my husband and I had a 3,750sq ft building built to house Graham Crackers.
With the new building I have expanded into taking ladies and maternity consignment. Graham Crackers is now the largest consignment store in the area. With over 1000 consignors, you're sure to find just what you need. We put out up to 500 new items daily. The new location is at 811 Kings Hwy, in the Wake Village area of Texarkana.
I often get the question, “Why the name Graham Crackers?” I taught art at an elementary school in San Antonio. My last name being Graham, the kids called me Ms. Graham Crackers. Annoying at first but, I grew to love it.
